Soap

Soap is a common household product that many of us use every day. But it can be very harmful to dogs if they are exposed to it, and even small amounts can cause serious health problems. Dogs have skin that is much more sensitive than ours, and even mild soap can strip away natural oils from their fur and irritate their skin.

If your dog comes into contact with soap, you should rinse them off immediately with plenty of fresh water. Long-term exposure to soaps or detergents can lead to dryness and itching, as well as other skin conditions like dermatitis or eczema.

Additionally, some soaps contain ingredients which are toxic for dogs when ingested; these include fragrances and essential oils which may be found in certain types of soap. Therefore it’s important to keep all soaps out of reach from pets at all times!
